Great Western Golf. Play golf, feel good.

Brand Guidelines

How to use the Great Western Golf identity so it looks right every time, wherever it appears.

Clear space and minimum size

Keep 10mm clear all round the logo. Nothing else sits inside that zone: no type, no images, no page edges.

Turn on the exclusion zone in the logo viewer above to see where it falls.

Minimum size

The logo with the tagline should never go below 27mm wide. Drag the slider to check the size you're working at.

40 mm Fine. Use the logo with the tagline.

Social media

Profile pictures are tiny, so the flag and tagline drop out. Use the type-only roundel in green, grey or orange.

Only for very small sizes on social media. Everywhere else, use the full logo.

Colour

Four colours. Click any swatch to copy its web value, or a tint to copy that.

Tints

Use tints for backgrounds and secondary elements. Steps run from 90% down to 10%.

Typography

Niveau Grotesk throughout. Friendly, soft and comfortable, with a modern feel. Bold for headlines, Regular for subheads and body copy.

If Niveau Grotesk isn't available, the backup is Roboto.

What not to do

Always use the supplied files, without alteration. These are the common mistakes.

Don't rotate the logo.

Don't squash or stretch it.

Don't add drop shadows.

Don't put it on colours outside the palette.

Don't crowd the edge. Keep the 10mm clear space.

Don't change the colours.

Photography

Real people, real weather, the range and the adventure golf. Use only the official collection.
