Colin Fisher

Since joining from Loch Lomond Golf Club in 2001, our Master Professional Colin has dedicated himself to coaching full time. During this time, he has been awarded Advanced Professional status by the PGA and was one of Scotland’s first level 3 coaches. In addition Colin is both a Development and Performance academy coach with Scottish Golf.

Andy Hutton

Andy joined the team at Great Western Golf in 2005. He previously spent three years coaching on cruise liners and was based in Charlton Golf Club in Fife for many years, coaching at all levels. Andy really enjoys the team atmosphere here and his enthusiasm comes across in his coaching.

David Pirie

David has written three golf instruction books, Play Better Golf,Golf for Seniors and Golf Buddy. He joined Great Western Golf in 2002 having previously been Head Professional at both Clydebank & District and Balmore Golf Clubs. In his playing days he was a joint course record holder at the Belfry.

Robin Smith
PGA TEACHING PROFESSIONAL
With over 40 years as a professional golfer, Robin has dedicated his life to the game - both as a player and a coach. Beginning his journey in Edinburgh, his career as a Club Professional in Scotland opened doors to the world, taking him across continents. He spent 17 years in Malaysia, a year in New Zealand, and five years in China, sharing his love for the game with players from all walks of life. One of his proudest moments was teaching the Malaysian Prime Minister at the prestigious Royal Selangor Golf Club in Kuala Lumpur - something a young boy from Edinburgh could hardly have imagined.
